Our Stockwell Portuguese Community project has supported over 1000 local Portuguese residents over the past six years. Support has included advice, help into work, support with volunteering, and building links with the wider community (e.g. involving people in consultations and the Stockwell Forum).

Funded by BIG Lottery Reaching Communities, we are in the process of applying for a continuation grant. As part of this process we have had to commission an external evaluation of the project, which you can read by clicking on this link:

The council is consulting on priorities for investment in streets, open spaces and places in Stockwell, Larkhall and Vassall wards.

When Lambeth Council gives planning permission for new developments, developers provide the Council with payments to fund local improvements. They want to find out your priorities.

Find out more about this consultation and have your say by completing a short survey here.

The consultation closes Friday 8 July 2016

Priorities will be published in a Cooperative Local Investment Plan (or CLIP for short) later in 2016 and will inform investment decisions in the area for the next three years.

You can also find out more at the next Stockwell Forum on Wednesday June 15th from 7 – 8.30pm in Bolney Meadow Community Centre, when the council officers will be presenting and holding workshops on CLIPs. More details of the forum are available here.
